In order to protect clients’ assets and counter networked crime, attorneys must develop a working knowledge of the issues that arise when securing proprietary data in digitally networked environments. InfoSec Law: Hacking the U.S. Code assists counsel in understanding these issues by providing an introduction to the laws and policies that address information security. By analyzing the federal laws that apply to computer crime, electronic surveillance, data privacy, intellectual property and governance, InfoSec Law: Hacking the U.S. Code assists counsel in spotting information security’s legal issues, establishing proper policy, responding to security breaches, and securing digitized assets.
